Well – I had to inform him that THE RULES HAVE CHANGED!!
Per CalBRE guidelines – its 100% legal for a Real Estate Broker/Agent to Sell Homes and Originate Loans, as long as he/she is properly licensed!
Being “properly licensed” means obtaining a NMLS Endorsement on your Real Estate Broker/Sales Person license – which includes taking a 20hr Prelicesning course, passing a National exam, background check, etc.
